Tyler A. Gray, CFP®, CKA®, AIF®
Founder & Sr. Financial Advisor
At SageOak, I help clients free up time to focus on the things that really matter in life, such as faith, family, and friends.
While I serve a variety of clients, the folks who typically find my services the most valuable are working professionals, business owners, and near or current retirees who’d like to delegate the stress and headache that usually come with managing their investments and financial planning needs.
Our clients know what it feels like to experience peace of mind that comes from having an expert and friend walk alongside them to provide timeless financial wisdom, through every stage of life!
I started SageOak Financial, LLC in 2013 and I’ve been helping people with their personal finances for over a decade!
I’m a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Accredited Investment Fiduciary® Designee, Certified Kingdom Advisor®, NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor, and former President of the Financial Planning Association of Tulsa.
My formal education includes a Financial Planning Certificate from Northwestern University (Evanston, IL), Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Oklahoma State University (Stillwater, OK), and a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis (Indianapolis, IN).
I currently work with clients both in person and virtually from around the country, and before starting SageOak, I worked remotely with financial advisory firms in Florida and California.
On a more personal note, I grew up in a small town in northeastern Indiana and attended college in Indianapolis.
Before entering the financial services industry, I worked in intercollegiate athletics as a college golf and basketball coach at a small college in Kansas.
I currently live in the Tulsa, OK area with my wife, who works as a Physician Assistant at a local hospital.
We lost our first child in a miscarriage, but over the last several years, God has blessed us with a rambunctious little boy and three sweet baby girls.
In our community, I’ve served on the board of directors for Happy Hands Education Center, a local Christian school for children ranging in age from birth to 6 years old who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have other communication disorders.
My family and I are very active in our local church where I currently serve as an elder, and in my free time, I enjoy golf, exercise, reading, and travel.
