Tyler A. Gray, CFP®, CKA®, AIF®
Managing Director & Financial Advisor
While I serve a variety of clients, the folks who typically find my services the most valuable are…
- Working Professionals
- Medical Professionals
- Business Owners
- Near or Current Retirees
For many of my clients, faith is an important part of their life, but regardless of their faith background or season of life, clients usually seek me out to delegate the stress and headache that normally comes with managing their own financial planning and investment needs.
I started SageOak in 2013 and worked primarily as a solo advisor for almost a decade before merging firms in January 2022 with Stan Rickner & Steve Ellis of Seasons Financial Group, LLC which now operates as a “sister” brand/tradename of SageOak.
As an owner, Managing Director, and Financial Advisor at SageOak/Seasons, I help develop and integrate our firm’s long-term vision and strategic plan, as well as provide ongoing financial planning, investment management, and wealth management services to our clients.
I’m a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Accredited Investment Fiduciary® Designee, Certified Kingdom Advisor®, NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor, and former president of the Financial Planning Association of Tulsa.
My formal education includes a Financial Planning Certificate from Northwestern University (Evanston, IL), Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Oklahoma State University (Stillwater, OK), and a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis (Indianapolis, IN).
I work with clients in person and virtually from around the country, and before starting SageOak, I worked remotely with financial advisory firms in Florida and California.
I grew up in a small town in northeastern Indiana and attended college in Indianapolis.
Before entering the financial services industry, I worked in intercollegiate athletics as a college golf and basketball coach at a small Christian college in Kansas.
I currently live in the Tulsa, OK area with my wife, who works as a Physician Assistant at a local hospital.
We’ve lost two children in miscarriages over the years, but God has also blessed us with a rambunctious little boy and four sweet little girls.
In our community, I’ve previously served on the board of directors for Happy Hands Education Center, a local Christian school for children ranging in age from birth to 6 years old who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have other communication disorders and have volunteered with various other local ministries and non-profits.
My family and I are very active in our local church, Grace & Peace, where I serve as an ordained elder.
In my free time, I enjoy playing an occasional round of golf, staying physically active, reading good books, traveling to new places, and enjoying new experiences with my wife and kiddos!
