Biography

In his role as Principal Financial Advisor at Tulsa, OK based SageOak Financial, LLC, Tyler enjoys helping clients be excellent stewards of the financial resources entrusted to them.  He does this by providing and applying timeless financial wisdom and principles during every stage of a client’s life.  Tyler focuses on developing a customized strategy and personalized advice for each client, so they can rest easier knowing someone is there to help them make wise financial decisions.

Tyler is a candidate for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Certification.  He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK, a Financial Planning Certificate from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis (IUPUI) in Indianapolis, IN.  Prior to starting SageOak, Tyler worked and consulted with financial advisory firms in both Florida and California.  He also worked in intercollegiate athletics as a college golf and basketball coach prior to completing his MBA.  To stay up to date with the latest developments in the financial planning field, Tyler is actively involved in the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and the Financial Planning Association (FPA) locally and nationally.

Tyler lives in a suburb of Tulsa, OK with his wife, Laura who works as a Physician Assistant in the Tulsa, OK area.  He and his wife are very active in their local church and in his free time, he enjoys golf, exercise, reading, travel, and spending time with friends and family.  He also enjoys writing and speaking on stewardship, giving, saving, spending, investing, and various other personal financial topics to groups, both large and small in size.  If you are interested in Tyler speaking at your next event or would like to get in touch with him, please send him an email at Tyler@SageOakFinancial.com.
